My siren ventures.
Dallas, Texas.
First 2 pics are of a Federal Signal EOWS 612 located on Walnut Hill Rd. in Irving, TX. Irving has a whole system of 612's.
Little different angle here... What's that car that says "Irving Police" heading towads us?
Ahhhhh...a classic! This ACA Allertor can be found off of Texas State Hwy. 10 in Hurst TX.
Charlotte, North Carolina
An all to familiar site these days. The old classic dual-tone sirens being replaced with higher, scarrier sounding sirens.
A lot of sirens made today sound awsome, but nothing is as destinceful as a Thunderbolt's roar. The Thunderbolt (pictured
on right) was there when I took the picture, but apon return a week later, it had been removed. Now, they can't destinguish
between a fire engine siren and the nuclear warning siren.

Wonder what kind of siren this is...

I hope, they don't replace this Thunderbolt with one of those high-toned 2001's. Look at this one-of-a-kind paint job. It
looks too new to be taken down. NOTE: There is NOT a 2001 next to it as of July'03.
