Looking way back to 2002, we remember getting the company started off with Mac OS 9. Unlike OS X, OS 9 was very unstable.
If you got more than 3 to 4 programs running at once, BOOM, the computer froze. Curser and everything! Then you had to restart.
These and other problems, Mac OS X fixes. But sometimes it's nice to go back and remember what we thought was cutting edge.
The sad thing is, at the time it was.
Mac OS 9.2 - The last "Mac based" Macintosh OS. |

Then, in the Fall of 2002, we made that change. OS 9 to OS X. Finally, a Mac OS with no bomb messages, no freezes, and best
of all, something that is pre-set to 1024x768 resolution. That's why the picture below appears twice as large as the one above.
Mac OS 9 has a resolution of 800x600, so, the higher the resolution, the more you can get in one Monitor. But the lowest resolution
on larger Apple Displays, like our 17" Studio Display on the G4, are now at least 1280x1024. Lots of stuff in one monitor!
